This bench is directly inspired by Frank Gehry’s proposed Guggenheim Museums for Abu Dhabi and New York. The flowing glass form speaks to the surrounding environment and transcends its basic function of seating without calling too much attention to itself. Our perception of the material is altered by bold 1” contour lines to affirm its strength. Combining digital fabrication with traditional methods lets each bench to be as unique as the waves and ripples of the nearby water.
