SpaceBox® is a flexible building solution for temporary and semi-permanent applications. At the time of this project, they were only being used in Europe but were looking to expand into the U.S. market and specifically targeting university scenarios. For 6 weeks a group of 14 worked on a proposal to bring SpaceBox to downtown Philadelphia. Although this proposal was not implemented, the research and strategic planning did inform other plans that have been developed or are currently under construction.
